"I have to say I was extremely sceptical that anyone could sell my business. Whilst operationally it was a good, profitable opportunity, the complications with the lease, the accounts and the legal structure of the company made it complicated to say the least.

This is to say thank you very much indeed for your invaluable assistance in selling a part of my solicitors’ practice recently. I am delighted with the result and especially grateful to you for finding a buyer and negotiating a deal which fitted the bill perfectly.
 
Selling a law firm, or part, is a very complex operation. We lawyers are always being told that no-one will pay a premium for our practices, and that the best we can hope for is to get out without having to pay for run-off cover. We have managed to disprove that, and I fully agree that the production of a comprehensive business profile at the very beginning proved to be decisive in attracting interest.
 
Having found the buyer and negotiated terms, you remained fully involved in the sale process, and read all documents to ensure that the agreed deal was being executed. I would like to think that I would have picked up the VAT point about TOGC myself, but in the event you got there before I did and thus we were able to ensure that this vital issue was addressed, and ultimately dealt with in the correct manner.
